NEW SHADE PAVILION AT HO HUM BEACH
Design, procure, and install an architecturally interesting tent structure at the end of the Boardwalk at the ocean
beach. This will be visually attractive and provide much-needed shelter from the sun and wind at Ho Hum beach.
It is envisioned to be affixed to sunken poles, and the tent itself will be raised and lowered for the seasons.
PROJECT TRACKSIDE TAKES ON THE BELLPORT TRAIN STATION
The BVPF has been approved by NYS for a grant to execute a re-design and renovation of the grounds at the Bellport Train Station. The project will include complete landscaping and beautification of the train station grounds. (This will not include any platform work or lighting.) It is our hope the project will begin before the Summer of 2026.
INSTALL ONE MORE WATER BOTTLE-FILLING STATION
The BVPF has already installed two water bottle-filling stations; one at the Village Green and the other at Osborn Park. The third one will be installed somewhere in the Business District or near the field at Mary Immaculate Church.
UPGRADE THE APPEARANCE OF THE PORTA-POTTY AT MOTHER'S BEACH
The BVPF will work together with the Village DPW to re-design the screening and orientation of this installation.
