Restoration of Historic Bowling Alley
and installation of A/C in 
Community Center Recreation Room

In 2019, the BVPF executed a project in the recreation room in the basement of the Community Center to restore the antique 1929 manual two-lane bowling alley and refurbish the entire recreation room with new floors, pool tables, bowling balls, colorful graphics on the wall, etc... Now, six years later, it needs a facelift and additional enhancements.

 

This winter (2024-2025), the BVPF is replacing the painted floor graphic with custom-designed graphic linoleum tiles, restoring one period pool table to mint condition using parts from another, installing a ping pong table, repairing the ball catchers, and replacing damaged bowling balls.

The scheduled date of completion is by Memorial Day 2025.
